|
| Outcome | Documentation to meet the needs of the organization’s managers, employees, and other stakeholders |
| Responsibility | Managers |
The map below shows the key elements of a management system, and their suggested arrangement for documentation purposes.
This management system design is provided as a template when you create your Kesteven Management Documentation website: there is a menu section for each of the main components, and place-holder pages with some initial content for each element. This design is a reasonable starting point for most organizations; but the relevance and relative importance of each element, and how you choose to arrange them, will depend on your particular circumstances and on your documentation objectives.
As you start building your management documentation website — or at any time in the future — you can add, remove, rename, and rearrange your management system elements in any way you need.
Note: We do not presume to tell you how to manage your organization. What we are offering is a methodology for developing your decisions about your organization’s management, and for turning those decisions into documentation that will be of value to your organization’s stakeholders.
Click on an element for more information about the types of content you might need, and guidelines for developing that section of your management system.
